"I will find the answers, even if it kills me."

After the third or fourth mutilated body showed up during his time at St. Mary's Hospital in Arkham, Vincent Lee began to suspect that this was no simple case of wild animal attacks. When a young man died screaming in his sleep from a burst heart, Vincent knew for a fact that dark times were ahead. Taking a leave of absence from his position at the hospital, he has set out to ease the suffering of those afflicted by the spreading chaos, hoping that the trail of bodies will lead him to the answers he craves.

Defeated Encounters

Loss of Health

You are shocked to see Vincent lying in a pool of his own blood, struggling to perform a complicated surgical procedure on himself. He gasps and motions to his things. Gain all of his possessions. Shaking, you try to follow his instructions and help him complete the surgery (Will). If you pass, you manage to save his life and, though he may never fully recover, he will live; retreat Doom by 1. If you fail, Vincent does not survive the botched surgery. Whether you pass or not; discard his Investigator token.

Loss of Sanity

Inside the asylum, you are escorted to a locker room. The orderly at the door give you Vincent's things and warns you not to get too close. Gain all of his possessions. Inside, you find Vincent, hands bound with rope, gnashing his teeth and struggling to attack you at every opportunity. You try to calm him (Influence). If you pass, you manage to pacify him and he warns you of an impending threat; retreat Doom by 1. If you fail, he must be sedated. Whether you pass or not, discard his Investigator token.

Team Role

Vincent's stats aren't specialized to any particular role, but his composed condition makes him a great all-rounder. Depending on the team's needs, he can start off going to Shanghai, Istanbul, or Sydney to improve his stats. He can provide great support to combat-oriented characters who have more sanity than health.
